Letter From The Chairman

Dear Fellow Federal Employees:

I want to welcome you to the 2012 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) team! And I want to thank you for giving your time, talent and treasure. Our efforts can have a great impact on our neighbors and communities.

Your Greater Chattanooga Area CFC has a history of great success and the past few years have only added to the legacy. Last year your combined efforts were inspiring. Participation grew and the campaign topped the $1.8 million mark for the first time ever. You may recall that the prior year, in 2010, the campaign topped $1.6 million for the first time ever. It is incredible that employees continue to support our campaign and communities at that level, especially during challenging times.

And you have more to be proud of. This spring our campaign was recognized nationally with two awards. You received the CFC Innovators Award for the many creative activities and fund raisers you undertook, as well as forming the Young Generation Leaders group to inspire the next generation to continue the great legacy of this campaign. The second award was for having one of the highest percentage increases in pledges of all campaigns (9.4% increase for $1 million or more campaigns).

Last year we were Inspired to Give. This year we are taking that inspiration one step further and Making it Count.

I ask you to:

  • Make It Count by giving back to your community.
  • Make It Count ... every dollar does.
  • Make It Count by participating.
  • Make It Count ... share your talents.
  • Make It Count by helping those who need it.
  • Make It Count ... your time makes a difference.
  • Make It Count by giving or growing your gift.

Let's continue the great tradition of Federal employees in the Greater Chattanooga Combined Federal Campaign. I encourage you to Make It Count and continue supporting your neighbors and communities as you have in the past.

Sincerely,

John McCormick Signature

John J. McCormick, Jr., Chair
